I’m currently 33.5 weeks pregnant and we filmed this video yesterday.
I definitely need some work on my kettlebell snatch form, but wanted to show that snatches are possible (and awesome in my opinion) during late pregnancy. I actually have a lot more trouble doing 2-handed kettlebell swings than kettlebell snatches because my belly really gets in the way.
For my conditioning workout today I did the following:
- Arc Trainer: 10 min
- 2-handed kettlebell Swings with 16K kettlebell
(30 sec of swings, 30 sec of rest for 5 min – total of 95 swings)
- 1-handed kettlebell Swings with 12K kettlebell
(30 sec of swings, 30 sec of rest for 6 min – total of 114 swings)
- Kettlebell snatches
(15 sec of snatches, 15 sec of rest for 10 min – total of 120 kettlebell snatches) –> See 1 min video below.
- Arc Trainer: 5 min
